1. Mitsubishi Eclipse

MSRP: $20,249

Though affordable, the Mitsubishi Eclipse just doesn’t give sports car enthusiasts what they’re looking for. Lacking the ability to burn up the road, those who do buy are most likely charmed by its sporty good looks.

2. BMW X3-Series

MSRP: $39,700

A quick look at the X3 suggests BMW, but doesn’t convince. Drivers looking to drop up to $40k on a crossover have much better looking, handing, and priced options available on the market.

3. Chrysler Sebring

MSRP: $20,120

No surprise the Chrysler Sebring makes the list. With or without Chrysler’s troubles of late, the Sebring has continually ranked near the bottom of it’s class for years. Jeremy Clarkson once called the it “ the worst car in the entire world.”

4. Toyota 4Runner

MSRP: $28,640

Everyone drove a mid-size SUV in the 90’s but we’re wrapping up a entirely new decade. Most other car manufactures are killing their versions. It’s unclear what Toyota is holding out for.

5. Chrysler PT Cruiser

MSRP: $18,000

The PT Cruiser was one of those trends that quickly ran it’s course. The charm of “so-ugly-it’s-cute styling wore off but for some reason the PT continues to stick around. Get over it Chrysler, and put this beast to bed.

6. Mercedes-Benz R-Class

MSRP: $47,650

Where to start? A few reviews stated that R-Class was “sexy” – perhaps these reviewers need glasses or maybe they were just charmed by the Mercedes insignia on the hood, because that’s one ugly wagon. Basically the R-Class is up against plenty of competition in the luxury crossover class, whey you have looks and price against you, need I say more.

7. Volkswagen Passat

MSRP: $28,300

Why pay over $10,000 more when you can just buy a Jetta? Despite more luxurious styling and addtional options the Volkswagen Passat just can’t justify its price tag.

8. Mitsubishi Galant

MSRP: $21,249

Poor design and engineering leave the Mitsubishi Galant lagging behind other family-sedans. Simply put for the same price you can buy a much better car.

9. Toyota FJ Cruiser

MSRP: $23,320

It looks cool right? To be honest I’m not sure. The “remade” Land Cruiser may have sparked interest due to it’s vintage styling, however the FJ Cruiser’s retro handling left car buyers looking elsewhere.

MSRP: $35,200

I have nothing bad to say about the Audi TT, in fact I have a bit of a car crush on it. But, when you’re up against Porsche it’s hard to win…
