The basic warranty lasts for three years or 36,000 miles.

Head-To-Head Competition:
The S2000 is really showing its age. The Chyrsler Sebring Limited costs $2,500 less and adds side airbags, a larger engine, and a DVD, but it lacks traction control. The Ford Mustang GT Premium costs $2,500 less and has a V8 with 60 more horsepower. Even the Saturn SKY Redline beats it out, costing $6,000 less and adding 20 more horsepower and better gas mileage.
What Others Are Saying:
“That said, the S2000 is addicting, with one of the best manual transmissions in existence, a sophisticated double-wishbone suspension and perfect weight front-to-rear distribution, which all conspire to create smile-inducing performance and handling.” – Forbes
“With its engine placed behind the front axle centerline, the S2000’s weight distribution is an optimal 50/50 and its mass is centered in a manner similar to that of a mid-engined car. Like a mid-engined car, it turns almost telepathically in response to steering inputs.” – The Auto Channel
“The S2000, although attractive enough, always has been afraid to make a visual show of itself-the wrong idea for a topless ride.” – Automobile Magazine
