What is the Predicted Reliability:

In the Initial Quality Study of J.D. Power and Associates, the 2012 Audi A4 got a decent 3 out of 5 in overall vehicle quality. Early models that were made between 2006 and 2008 had minor problems with the engine, but models that were manufactured 2009 and onwards had no recurrences of the nasty engine problems experienced early on.

Analysis Of Safety Ratings And Features:

The 2012 Audi A4 is an IIHS Top Safety Pick for 2012. It got the highest score of ‘Good’ in side impact and front offset as well as roof strength tests. The A4 also comes standard with traction/stability control, front side/side curtain airbags and antilock brakes.

The BMW 3-Series returns 24/36 MPG while the Mercedes C-Class is good for 21/31 MPG in city and highway driving. The 2012 Audi A4 returns an EPA average of 22/30 MPG.
