2007 Nissan 350Z Roadster Review

The 350Z is the convertible trim of the 350Z that debuted for 2004. It is styled after the original Z cars from the ’70s. It received a new interior in 2006. The coupe variant was nominated for “North American Car of the Year” in 2003, and made the Car and Driver “Ten Best” list that year.

What’s New For 2007:

A new 306 hp engine has been added, along with an updated transmission. The Track version has been dropped. Bluetooth and side airbags are now standard. A special Nismo edition has been released, with a number of sporty enhancements.

What is the Predicted Reliability:

J.D. Power ratings are not available. Problems with the 350Z include brake noise, cold starting problems, high idle speeds, stuck hatches, and vehicle noise. The first two years were recalled due to cracking fuel filler hoses. Expect above average reliability. The basic warranty lasts for three years or 36,000 miles.
