2007 Mercury Milan Review
The Milan is a mid-size near-luxury car that debuted in 2006. It was intended as a replacement for the then-discontinued (Mercury Sable). The Milan, unlike most of Mercury’s lineup, is designed to appeal to a younger audience. Based on an enlarged Mazda6 platform, the Milan is Mercury’s most affordable model.
The BuyingAdvice Team Says:
The Mercury Milanis the company’s most promising new model in several years. While its 2006 model was rather humble, the additional safety features added for this year bring it up to par. While it’s a bit more expensive overall than its mechanical twin, the (Ford Fusion), and its cousin, the Mazda6, it beats both in looks. However, other models in this category will provide an overall better value.

What Others Are Saying:
“The 2006 Mercury Milan is about as average as they come, with features sometimes matching but never outstripping the competition. While pleasant enough to behold, the Milan really doesn’t offer much to desire.” – C|Net
“Mercury is going in the right direction with its 2006 Milan.” – The Auto Channel
“If we actually had to plunk our own money down on one of the new midsize sedans from Ford Motor Co., I’d argue in favor of the Fusion over the Milan. I just think it has a sassier, bolder look than the Mercury. I don’t have a problem with the Milan; I just like the Fusion better.” – Detroit News
