2008 Infiniti FX35 Review
The FX is a luxury CUV that debuted in 2002. Two models are available: The V8 FX45 and the V6 FX35. The FX35 was updated in 2006 with leather seats, a rearview camera, and a power tilt steering wheel. The FX35's engine has been listed on Ward's "10 Best" list every year since its inception.
The BuyingAdvice Team Says:
The Infiniti FX35 has had few updates, yet still impresses as a luxury CUV. While it may not contain as many features as its closest competitors, the FX35 often exceeds them in performance and remains of the most reliable vehicles on the market. If you want a stylish, dependable crossover that's fun to drive, the FX35 is worth a test drive.

The FX35 earned perfect government crash test scores. In IIHS tests, it received "Good" for the front and "Marginal" for the rear. Anti-lock brakes, brake assist, full side airbags, a rearview camera, tire-pressure monitoring, and stability and traction control come standard. A lane departure warning system is now available.

What Others Are Saying:
"The Infiniti FX from Nissan's upscale division looks like a sport-utility vehicle driven straight from the future, and its performance matches its flamboyant appearance." - Chicago Sun-Times
"I really enjoy driving the Infiniti FX35. It has some very thoughtful features. I love the card/ticket holder above the sun visor, and the grocery bag hooks in the cargo area. The seat adjustment buttons are located on the top of the seats, so you can actually see which ones you're using." - Mother Proof
"High tech leads in the FX. Its optional lane departure warning system uses a tiny rearview mirror-mounted camera to view road markings and calculate vehicle drift out of lane. Available "preview braking" uses the intelligent cruise control to sense when the distance between the FX and a vehicle ahead isn't adequate. The system pre-pressurizes braking to improve response by the driver." - Road & Travel
