Head-To-Head Competition:

The Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class 550 includes navigation, but costs several thousand more. The Audi A8 includes AWD, navigation, and a moonroof, but has 30 less hp, and costs several thousand more.

What Others Are Saying:

“The LS 460 might be the most sophisticated car in mass production. Like other Lexus vehicles, the LS 460′s styling, though pleasant, isn’t head-turning. If Lexus should ever learn to style its cars as well as say, Mercedes, the rest of the world’s automakers can fold their cards and go home.”The Dallas Morning News

“The LS 460 doesn’t speak to car enthusiasts, and it’s practically nowhere with the hip-hop crowd. Rather, it’s for practical careerists who want a solid, reliable, well-priced luxury sedan.”Chicago Sun-Times

“Nits aside, it’s abundantly clear that the LS 460 is one mightily impressive luxury sedan, especially in the extended wheelbase LS 460L variant. Lexus has a well-earned reputation for outstanding reliability and the relentless improvement of their products. As good as the original LS400 was, Lexus has come a long way indeed.”About.com
