2008 Kia Amanti Review
The Amanti is an upscale sedan first introduced in 2003. Featuring Mercedes-like styling, the Amanti delivers luxury on a budget. It was updated in 2007 with an updated interior and exterior, and a brand-new 264-hp engine.

J.D. Power information is not available. Problems include non-arming alarms, inaccurate fuel estimates and engine noise. No recalls have been issued. Expect well-above average reliability. The basic warranty lasts for five years or 60,000 miles.
Analysis Of Safety Ratings And Features:
Government crash test scores are not available. The IIHS gave the Amanti “Good” for the front and side, and “Marginal” for the rear. Anti-lock brakes, active head restraints, full side airbags and a tire-pressure monitor come standard. Stability control, traction control and brake assist are available as a package.
