The BuyingAdvice Team Says:

The Acura TSX is a great luxury value that won't leave you pining for power. While it may not carry as many luxuries as a BMW or Lexus, it carries a much better price tag. Once again, Acura proves itself to be one of the most sensible luxury brands out there.

Pros and Cons:

Pros
+ Great value
+ Fun
+ Good mileage

Cons
- Complicated navigation system
- Poor shifting compared to the rest of Acura's lineup
- Cheaper feel

Head-To-Head Competition:

The Lexus IS 250 features a V6, but costs a couple thousand more. The Volvo S40 T5 has a five-cylinder with 20 more hp, as well as navigation, but lacks leather and a moonroof. The BMW 3 Series 328i has a V6 with 25 more hp, but costs about four thousand more, and lacks a CD changer and leather.

What Others Are Saying:

"Proponents of rear-wheel drive probably would not give TSX a second look. Many enjoy the enhanced balance and smooth ride quality that rear drive vehicles have perfected over the years. However, for those who have grown up and grown accustomed to front wheel drive and enjoy a sporty touch, the well-appointed TSX with its quick responsiveness may fit the bill." - Chicago Sun-Times

"Mainly, though, TSX is very pleasant; a seductive blend of power, cornering and comfort. Just skip the navigation system." - USA Today

"So the TSX ends up feeling like a cheaper car that has been ornamented to feel more upscale, even if it's a lot of fun to drive. It doesn't coddle you with luxurious touches at every centimeter, the way a 3 Series or an Audi A4 does (these two vehicles are the TSX's toughest competitors)." - Forbes
